Grendel's Cave has a very active and growing community. Grendel Slayers' primary goal is to promote that community and facilitate better communication lines between member, and Beowulf himself. To that end we've provided a number of different facilities in which you might contribute. Keep in mind all our community sections are "members only". Membership is nothing more than Grendel Slayers' desire to keep this community as pure and bot-free as possible, so we actually do manage it. There aren't any requirements for becoming a member, simply apply, do your best to make sure we know for sure that you're not just some spam-bot, and you'll be admitted as quickly as possible.
With that said, we have the following community driven sections:
Forums:
The Grendel Slayers forum has been a staple of Grendel's Cave for quite some time now. Newbies are welcome, we'd ask that you spend some time browsing the forum before just posting questions, as many have already been answered either inside the forums or else where in the site. Other then that, please have fun and enjoy.
Blogs:
The past of Grendel's Cave is largely murky to any who've not been here for a LONG time. Even those of us who have been here for a long time are often times rather unsure of the past. To help prevent that the blogs have been enabled. All members have their own blog. You are encouraged to post your in game adventures. Some are too good to forget. And feel free to browse other's blogs and see what's happened for them. Other types of information in the blogs are certainly welcome. Beowulf's blog is also located herein.
Chat:
Chat has been a popular and colorful portion of Grendel's Cave history as well. Some of the most interesting conversations to ever occur in the history of the internet have happened in GC's chat room. Remember, you must be a member to join in chat.
Users:
I think it's very important that the community have access to knowing just who is actually participating in the community. The user list is a list that is sorted by most activity. The people most recently active will appear at the top. Often times if you're viewing the User List, you'll find yourself at the top for that very reason. The fields are all sortable, so if you'd like to sort alphabetically you may. You might also find that it would be helpful to your fellow GCers if you'd fill in the information about yourself so that they might better search you.
