Well, if all has gone well, you're a member now. On the left side of the page you'll find a new navigation menu that you didn't have before. It should have your name on top of it. Under that you have a handful of new features. The first is the Users area which gives you a list of the most recent/active users. Here you can find any information that they've entered into their profile. This makes contacting people very straightforward and easy.
Your second item is the Chat option. The chat page automatically logs you in so that you can be sure that you are really talking to who the chat room says you're talking to. This is very useful for all members, and let's you know for sure when you're talking to Beowulf.
Finally you have the My blog/Create Content items. These sections replicate a little of each other's abilities... specifically in the case of blogs. Your own personal blog content can be created from either of these sections as well as new forum topics inside the create content area.
In the main navigation is the Forum. Forums have been a staple of the Grendel Slayers site for ages now. All the information that was on the last set of forums has been pulled over into these, making a seemless transition for our users. Additionally the forum has a wealth of knowledge hidden in it. This is one of the most useful features of this site. And after you obtain membership, the Forums will be open to you.
